To those debating whether or not ODST was first announced as expansion DLC.
-It was never announced to be DLC. It was always going to be retail.
-It has always been billed as a "Standalone Expansion". In other words, you do not have to have Halo 3 to play Halo 3: ODST. It stands as it's own game. Owning Halo 3 is NOT required to play.
-There is a full, new single-player campaign.
-The original title was Halo 3: Recon
I didn't report it cause I don't agree w/ the author. I reported it for the reason I reported it for - the story is lame (and contains incorrect information).
This is FAR more than just an expansion - you called it a 'side order'. It's clear you haven't actually played the game.

If this is so true, then why is the 360 beating the PS3 in sales?
Other's have posted comments on other articles, saying that the one & only reason the 360 is beating the PS3 is because the 360 is less expensive.

Wii - 34.55 Million
Xbox 360 - 22.5 Million
PS3 - 16.84 Million
The 360 has outsold the PS3 in total sales in every world region except Japan (follow the link).

Desperation? Are you crazy? The 360 has outsold the PS3 by a margin of greater than 2:1 and the margin is only getting wider.
MS lowered the 360's price once they managed to lower their manufacturing costs for the system - and to help sales (which is 'strategically awsome'). Sony is still losing money on every PS3 they sell and got killed in holiday sales in 08 due to their lack of a price drop.
MS has sold more than twice as many Xbox 360's as Sony has sold PS3's (See figures above).
Unless something truly amazing happens, Sony will never regain the lead this gen.

HDMI is a technology, not an online service. Nobody 'stole' it from anyone.
What I'm saying is that their PS3 Online 'Gamer Cards' are a blatant rip of Xbox 360's Gamer cards.
HD-DVD is not a 'copy' of blu-ray. They were competing technologies - both invented by not Sony or MS but Toshiba.
What 360 avatars are you talking about? MS has no plans whatsoever to 'copy' PS3's 'Home'.
